Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F): Current price $16.83

As Ford is driving at attaining 8 million in annual sales by the middle of the decade, it will introduce its least expensive global small car in 2014, the Ka Concept, targeted at first time auto buyers in emerging markets. The automaker intends to sell the model for less than its Fiesta subcompact, and hopes that chrome accents and a more sturdy construction will win over buyers in markets like Brazil, where Executive Chairman Bill Ford is debuting the car Wednesday. Ford South America’s design chief, Ehab Kaoud, commented to  reporters last week, “I kept telling the designers: ‘Guys, no tin can. This is the smallest car we do. But when you look at it, it really exudes premiumness.”
